Kids learn best when they feel safe, seen, and understood. That’s why we have no pressure, no ski races, and no grades. Instead: playful tasks, small wins, age-appropriate explanations – technique grows from confidence.

At the start, clear basics and a good feeling on snow matter most. In our private lessons there’s time for every question – we explain clearly and remove uncertainty. (Your kids’ ski lesson in Davos – tailored, not one-size-fits-all.)

Already more confident?
Leave the day planning to our experienced instructors. We choose suitable slopes, magic carpets (conveyor belts), and gentle runs – your child enjoys the day, we handle the rest.

Learning goals – matched to ability

Beginner

• Gliding & braking (snowplough), safe stopping
• First direction changes & easy turns on gentle terrain
• Lift basics (practice lift/magic carpet) and essential FIS rules

Intermediate

• Stronger turns, first parallel turns
• Rhythm, balance & speed control on blue/red runs
• Safe behaviour on drag/ chair lifts

Advanced

• Clean parallel/carving turns, more dynamic skiing
• Tactics for changing terrain/snow (rollers, mild bumps)
• Optional: technique inputs for soft snow/off-piste basics (age- & conditions-appropriate)

What to Expect in a Private Kids’ Ski Lesson

• Initial advice & area choice – We set the goals for the day, taking into account your child’s level, the snow, and the weather. The meeting point will be arranged based on the chosen area – Madrisa (Klosters), Jakobshorn, Rinerhorn, Parsenn, or Pischa.
• Equipment & rental – On request, we organise skis, boots, and helmet and make sure everything fits comfortably.
• Kick-off & goal setting – We start gently with clear explanations and playful warm-ups. A short technique check helps us choose the right slope and exercises.
• Learning through play & encouragement – Step by step, kids get clear, simple tips with lots of positive feedback. Playful tasks, fun drills, and easy-to-understand demonstrations keep them engaged. Short video clips on the slope can be included if you like.
• Organised lunch break We can pre-book a cosy family-friendly hut or panorama restaurant along the route, so there’s time to rest and recharge
• Wrapping up the day- We finish with a few fun runs where your child can show what they’ve learned. The instructor gives a short summary with tips for the next ski days – always with encouragement and positivity.

Davos Klosters is excellently set up: the Madrisa Kinderland is especially well equipped for children and beginners. Gotschna (Klosters) and Jakobshorn (Bolgen – Davos) also offer magic carpets (conveyor belts) – ideal for first steps.

• How long is a private session?
  Typically 3 hours (half day) or 5–6 hours (full day).
• Where do we meet?
  Your choice: hotel, valley station (Parsenn, Jakobshorn, Gotschna, Rinerhorn), or on the mountain – you choose the meeting point.
• Suitable for siblings/friends?
  Yes. We structure lessons so everyone benefits. Ideal up to 4, recommended max. 6 kids per instructor.
• Is equipment included?
  No. We’re happy to arrange rental (skis, boots, helmet).
• What about bad weather?
  We stay flexible and always choose the best options for the conditions. You can trust us – even on snowy or cloudy days, your child will enjoy the lesson and have a great time on the mountain.
• Which languages do you teach in?
  Subject to availability: German, English, Portuguese, Italian, French, Spanish, Russian, Dutch.
• Do you offer video feedback?
  Yes – short clips right on the slope speed up progress.
