MTB Multi-Day Tour in the Swiss National Park with Skills Workshop

Experience an unforgettable E-bike tour in Switzerland along the breathtaking route that follows the Swiss National Park. This multi-day mountain bike tour is a true highlight for nature lovers and mountain enthusiasts. Expect stunning landscapes, authentic culinary delights, and cultural diversity – including a scenic detour across the Italian border.

Each day of the tour offers something new: majestic mountain views, charming alpine villages, and varied trails ensure a unique adventure. This E-bike tour in Switzerland is perfect for riders who want to improve their skills while enjoying the beauty of the Alps at a relaxed pace.

The route leads over two alpine passes and is therefore an absolute highlight for all nature lovers and mountain enthusiasts. You will have the opportunity to climb up to 4,000 meters in altitude and cross four breathtaking passes.

Experience three unforgettable days of E-MTB riding through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Swiss Alps.

Starting in Scuol, this point-to-point journey takes you through the wild landscapes surrounding the Swiss National Park, across the beautiful Val Müstair, into Italy and the mountain-bike town of Livigno, before finishing among the glaciers and lakes of the Engadin and St. Moritz.

Along the way, you’ll ride through pine forests, remote alpine valleys, high mountain passes, traditional villages and natural singletrails — while your luggage travels separately and waits for you at the hotel.

This is more than a guided E-bike tour. Throughout the three days, your guide helps you develop the skills, confidence and practical knowledge you need to enjoy E-MTB riding in the Alps safely and independently.

Three Days. Two Countries. One Great Alpine Journey.

This tour is ideal for riders who want to experience a true multi-day E-MTB adventure without committing to a full week in the mountains. Over three days, you’ll connect some of the most beautiful riding regions of the Eastern Swiss Alps: Lower Engadin, Val Müstair, Val Mora, Livigno, the Bernina region and St. Moritz.

The focus is not on racing from one destination to the next. We take time to enjoy the landscape, stop in beautiful places, discover local culture and improve your riding along the way.

Your guide can adapt the pace and parts of the route to the group, weather and trail conditions, making the experience challenging enough to be rewarding while keeping it enjoyable.

Day 1 – Scuol to Müstair

Pine Forests, Alpine Valleys & the Swiss National Park Region

Your adventure begins in Scuol, in the heart of the Lower Engadin. After a short briefing and bike check, we leave the valley behind and ride towards the spectacular landscape around S-charl, one of the gateways to the Swiss National Park region.

Mountain streams, fragrant stone-pine forests and open alpine landscapes accompany us towards the Pass da Costainas. From here, the route continues into the beautiful Val Müstair, passing small mountain settlements such as Lü before descending towards Müstair. It is the perfect first day: varied terrain, beautiful scenery and plenty of opportunities to work on your E-bike technique without rushing.

Müstair is also home to the famous Benedictine Convent of St. John, part of the UNESCO World Heritage list — adding a fascinating cultural element to the day. At the hotel, your luggage will already be waiting for you.

Day 2 – Müstair to Livigno

Val Mora, High-Alpine Lakes & Into Italy

Day two takes us into one of the most impressive mountain landscapes of the tour. From Val Müstair, we head towards the remote Val Mora, a wide alpine valley surrounded by dramatic peaks and almost untouched mountain scenery.

The route continues towards the Italian border and the beautiful high-altitude lakes around Lago di San Giacomo di Fraele. From here, we climb towards the Alpisella Pass before enjoying the rewarding descent towards Lago di Livigno.

The landscape changes constantly throughout the day: Swiss forests give way to open high-alpine terrain, mountain lakes and wide Italian valleys. Our destination is Livigno, one of the Alps’ best-known cycling and mountain-bike destinations.

After checking into the hotel, the evening is yours to enjoy. Explore the lively town, relax with an aperitivo or discover one of Livigno’s many restaurants and experience a little Italian mountain culture.

Day 3 – Livigno to St. Moritz

Bernina Pass, Glaciers & the Upper Engadin

Our final day connects two of the Alps’ most iconic mountain destinations: Livigno and St. Moritz. Leaving Livigno, we climb towards Forcola di Livigno and cross back into Switzerland.

From here, the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic as we enter the Bernina region, surrounded by high peaks, glaciers and alpine lakes. We continue via the Bernina Pass, with spectacular views towards the Bernina massif and the famous Piz Bernina, before riding down into the Upper Engadin.

Depending on trail conditions and the group’s riding level, your guide selects the most enjoyable route towards St. Moritz, combining scenic mountain roads, gravel sections and natural trails. Part of the journey follows the landscape of the famous Bernina Railway, part of the UNESCO World Heritage route.

Reaching St. Moritz provides the perfect finish to three days of riding across the Alps. In the afternoon, we board the Rhaetian Railway for a relaxing and scenic train journey back to Scuol.

A Typical Day on Tour

We normally begin riding at around 9:30 AM.

Before setting off, your guide gives you a short overview of the route, terrain, weather conditions and important points for the day. Once on the trail, coaching happens naturally. Rather than stopping constantly for formal lessons, your guide gives you practical tips exactly where they are useful — before a steep climb, loose descent, corner or technical trail section.

There is time for breaks, photos, local food and simply enjoying the mountains. At the end of the riding day, you arrive at your hotel with your luggage already waiting for you.

For riders who want to learn even more, we offer an optional practical workshop of approximately one hour.

Manuel was a fantastic off piste skiing guide! There wasn't much snow this season, yet Manuel managed to find hidden pockets of untouched snow with gorgeous views of the Alps. He was very patient with me and taught me how to use telemark skis with skins. Manuel even met me at the rental store to make sure I got the appropriate skis. I thoroughly enjoyed my day skiing with Manuel. It was relaxing and challenging at the same time. I hope to return and book more adventures with Ride and Smile.

We arrived in Davos with no previous experience in skiing and spent some hours over 2 days with Manuel. He is such a wonderful teacher. He was super encouraging and patient. From explaining us the basics to helping us getting independent in the slopes and making the whole experience very enjoyable. He explained everything very clear and was an amazing support. Thank you so much, Manuel! I would 100% recommend. We couldn’t be happier with having chosen Ride & Smile for some lessons. Fernanda was also very kind and made the booking process very easy.

A fantastic 4 days snowboarding with Massimo as our instructor, mountain guide and new friend for life! As a family of 4 from Boston (2 parents and 2 boys of 12 and 15) we decided to visit Switzerland and learn snowboarding for the first time. We came across Ride and Smile online as a highly rated school. We were partnered with Massimo, an instructor who was super excited to take on the challenge of instructing an entire family of mixed ages, different levels of stamina and ultimately varying levels of natural talent. He greeted us each day with a huge smile and a group hug. We started with the basics, adapting his teaching approach to each of us based on our individual needs. Some of the family advanced quicker, but he really wanted to bring us all along for the ride and was extremely patient. He kept encouraging the slower progressing amongst the group to keep trying, emphasizing that it takes time to master the basics and that once it clicks it will feel amazing. By the fourth day my eldest son was cruising down a red slope like a pro - he will undoubtedly be a snowboarder for life. What made this experience so special was Massimo and his teaching style. His energy was truly infectious - truly positive and welcoming. We made so many memories thanks to Massimo!!

Wonderful Experience: great skiing and fantastic views Ride and Smile is wonderful all around. From the time I expressed interest in booking until after I finished my day skiing when I received photos and videos from my adventure, they were very responsive and attentive. I was able to speak with my guide, Manuel, before booking to make sure my expectations would be met. I'm happy to report that the actual experience exceeded them. Manuel knew how to find the perfect areas for off piste skiing that matched my ability and also offered spectacular views. I hope to come back and book more days with Ride and Smile.

Really excellent! This is the second year in a row that we have used Ride and Smile and we had Manuel as our guide for two days this time around. He was excellent. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and he struck the right balance between having fun and tuition - he was always encouraging and the improvement in all of us over a short period was clearly evident. We couldn’t recommend him and Ride and Smile highly enough.

Thank you We spent some wonderful days skiing in Davos / Klosters. The Ride & Smile team was very helpful in organizing the ski lessons, and they accommodated all of my requests. Our instructor Lisa was super nice. She made the lessons fun for all age groups and skill levels, including the youngest member of the group who loves speed and bumpy rides. She also gave us lots of useful tips with things to do and where to ski. Thank you!

Everything we hoped for and more! We signed up our two girls (ages 4 and 6) for classes over 4 days. Given their traumatic ski experience the year before, and the fact that they kept saying "I hate skiing, I don't wanna ski", we were seriously concerned whether they would make it even half-way the classes. Well we were so lucky to have Luna as our instructor! She had such a child-friendly approach, she connected with them and was so motivating and supportive! They loved it so much and kept saying they want to go on the big slopes and do races. We are sooo grateful for such an amazing experience!

Excellent I had an amazing experience with Luna as my ski instructor in Davos! In just two hours, she helped me improve significantly, making me feel much more confident on the slopes. Her teaching style is clear, patient, and super encouraging. Luna is not only skilled but also incredibly kind and resourceful, always finding the right tips to help me progress quickly. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their skiing while having a great time. Thank you, Luna!

Ski lessons in Davos I booked 4 ski lessons. I must admit that at first I didn't think I would be able to go on the red and blue slopes, because I had never skied before. All my lessons were with teacher Simone, he was really nice to me, he managed to do exercises that suited my learning style, his positivity was really contagious and seeing that he was happy with my achievements made me want to learn more and more.On the last day of my lessons, I was already able to go on the red slopes with some ease. This whole experience made me enjoy skiing and I can't wait for the next time.I would like to thank the entire Ride and Smile team for everything.
