What to expect?

During the booking process, we’ll ask about your goals, preferences, and riding level to tailor the tour and course content specifically to your needs. A key part of the planning is, for example, whether you’d like to use a mountain lift during the tour or prefer to gain elevation entirely under your own power.

If you need assistance with equipment, we’re happy to advise you in advance and help organize everything you need. You’ll meet your guide at the agreed meeting point. After a short conversation about the day’s plan and a brief warm-up ride to assess your riding skills, your personalized bike tour begins.

The day combines a guided bike tour with targeted riding technique inputs: Along the way, your guide will provide hands-on tips and exercises directly on the trail – always tailored to your ability and goals.

Learning Goals:

  • Basic Position & Balance – Stable and centered body position for control in all types of terrain – uphill, downhill, and on technical trails.
  • Braking on the Trail – Controlled and effective use of front and rear brakes, even on steep or loose surfaces.
  • Cornering Technique – Confident riding through wide and tight turns – adapted to different types of terrain.
  • Rear Wheel Pivot (for advanced riders) – Learn how to reposition the rear wheel for mastering tight switchbacks and technical descents.
  • Shifting Gears Off-Road – Smart and smooth gear changes on climbs and descents to preserve energy and protect your drivetrain.
  • Line Choice & Vision – Learn how to read the trail ahead, choose the best lines, and maintain flow through technical sections.
  • Overcoming Obstacles – Confidently roll over roots, small drops, and rocks – adapted to your skill level.
  • Starting on Steep Slopes – Master controlled starts on steep inclines without losing balance or momentum.
  • Pumping Technique (for advanced riders) – Use terrain features like rollers and dips to maintain speed without pedaling – for smoother, more efficient riding.
  • Technical Climbing – Improve uphill technique with smooth pedal strokes, body weight distribution, and – for e-bikers – proper use of motor assistance.
